Girls’ Period Dignity Project (GPDP)

Empowering Menstruating Girls, Enhancing Education, and Eradicating Teenage Pregnancies

In rural Elgon Region, countless menstruating girls are forced to abandon their education due to lack of access to sanitary products, perpetuating a cycle of poverty and limiting their future prospects. To address this pressing issue, we launched the Girls’ Period Dignity Project (GPDP).

Our Mission:

GPDP aims to provide every menstruating girl in the Elgon Region with reusable sanitary pads, ensuring they can attend school with dignity and confidence. By doing so, we strive to:

– Improve girls’ education and attendance rates
– Reduce teenage pregnancies and early marriages
– Promote menstrual health, hygiene, and management
– Empower girls to reach their full potential

How We’re Making a Difference:

We’re providing each beneficiary with 3 packets of reusable sanitary pads, accompanied by comprehensive menstrual health education and training. Our dedicated team works closely with local schools, communities, and stakeholders to:

– Distribute sanitary pads and educational materials
– Conduct workshops and training sessions
– Monitor progress and provide ongoing support

Why Your Support Matters:

Every donation counts, and your contribution will directly impact the lives of these deserving girls. By supporting GPDP, you’ll be helping to:

– Break the stigma surrounding menstruation
– Foster a culture of inclusivity and equality
– Empower girls to become agents of change

Join Hands with Us:

Together, we can create a brighter future for menstruating girls in the Elgon Region. Donate today and help us provide dignity, education, and empowerment to those who need it most.
